Public call for proposal begins for Oku-Noto Triennale 2017

We are pleased to announce the public call for proposal for Oku-Noto Triennale 2017.
This Triennale aims to stimulate untapped potentials of the place through diverse networks connected by art to create "foremost" culture from the "furthest" place. We look forward to receiving proposals for artworks and projects presented at the Triennale.

We would like to recruit artworks and projects that utilize characteristics of Oku-Noto and Suzu City such as its nature, history, culture, climate and scenery.

1: Artworks
Artworks or installation which will be presented during the Triennale.

2: Performing Arts
Music, dance performance or theatre play which will be presented during the Triennale.

3: Social Design
A project or social business which deals with a challenge that the region or society faces.

4: Free Genre
The field which is not limited to art (cooking, fashion design, craft and technology).
*Applicant could propose more than one project.

The site for artworks and projects can be across entire Suzu (including cape, beach, salt farm, field, forest, pond, house, school, nursery, shrine, lane & street and cultural hall).
After the document submission period (Monday 17 to Monday 31 October 2016) and judgement, we will announce the result on February 2017.
