Born in 1977 in Kagawa. Currently based in Wakayama, Japan. Completed study of painting at Tokyo Zokei University. He has been increasing exposures through participation in Nakanojo Biennale, Water and Land Niigata Art Festival and art fairs both within and outside Japan. He presented a painting on canvas and windows using soil at Soil Museum under Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2015. He visits place, collect soils based upon its history, memories and ordinary life, analise information he gathers from his visit and then expresses his appreciation through paintings and installations. When featuring landscape, his artwork consists of a painting and installation using soil of the site. He dehydrates collected soils, filters them and using different elements of the soils to create something different from ordinary.
