SHOKO ASO
JAPAN
Born in 1982 in Ishikawa. Based in Kanazawa, she presents her artworks mainly as installations. In the presence of emptiness, she sees and feels how they are to be and how they exist. She participated in Setouchi Triennale 2013 and presented her work at the Awashima island through her artist-in-residence experience in autumn in 2012. She returned to the Awashima island as a member of SOKO LABO to Setouchi Triennale 2016. She participated in Creative Talent Programme 2016 at The Bamboo Curtain Studio in Taipei in 2016. She also presents at 3331 Art Fair at 3331 Arts Chiyoda through recommendation by KAPO (Kanazawa Art Port KAP) in 2017.
